Darlie Lynn Routier And Faith

darlie-routierDarlie Lynn Routier- Texas Death Row

“As it is written, I have made you a father of many nations in the presence of Him whom He believed-God, who gives life to the dead, and calls those things which do not exist as though they did” (Romans 4:17).

Today, I began to pray for Darlie as I normally do  and then the Lord led me to a correspondence from 2012 and yes, I realize that we are in 2014 but the Bible In Habbakah 2 1-3″I will stand on my guard post And station myself on the rampart; And I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, And how I may reply when I am reproved. 2Then the LORD answered me and said, “Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run. 3“For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.”  The Lord directs us to write what it is we are seeking so that whomever sees it would be affected enough to run with it as well…He clearly says that the vision is for set time and though you may have to wait for it… It will surely come.

The article I shared was a 2012 article that revealed how the forensic  experts did not agree with the state and that a review was to happen on a state level that would result in a review on the federal level. I realize that we are in 2014, but so what! this matter takes time. God says ‘For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by,  and if we want results we need be on our knees for what we are battling for. and we  must continue to call those things which do not exist as though they did! I was surprised, when someone told me the article was dated, no news is good news in my discerning spirit. Besides, no information is going to be released by any credible lawyer –to have people conjecturing about outcomes based on their own limited nonfactual personal opinions and thoughts. God is the righteous judge. He is the lawgiver. Darlie Lynn Routier will be exonerated.

unjust judge

The Unjust Judge by Eugene Burnand-  Swiss Artist(1850-1921)

There is a  Parable that Jesus shares that aligns so much with the death row experiences of Darlie Lynn; although Darlie is not a widow, I want you to read it and as you read it consider her dilemma.  Jesus uses the Parable of the Persistent Widow

” 1And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. 2He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. 3And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ 4For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, 5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’” 6And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. 7And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? 8I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

First of all Jesus is tell this parable to teach His disciples that they should ALWAYS pray and not FAINT! In this version, they are told not to lose heart and He gives the story of  woman who wanted justice against her adversary. Imagine the judge kept on refusing to rectify the injustice but that did not deter the woman! Know  Hebrews 11 v 6 says “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Regardless of how the unrighteous judge responded, the woman had an indefatigable spirit. She was tenacious and relentless; Her faith never swaggered and  finally the unrighteous Judge gave the woman justice she deserved.

Jesus is looking for faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Without faith we can not achieve anything at all. Darlie Lynn has Faith in God’s ability to set her free and I align my faith with hers as a prayer warrior, to pray for her,  her mother and for the health of her son Drake. I will also embrace as she does every other women on death row. She will receive justice! We are calling all those things that do not exist as though they exist. In my mind Darlie Lynn Routier has been set free, Jesus is the author and finisher of her faith and the bishop of her soul. He is the righteous judge and she is His righteousness.

And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?

Romans 10 v. 15: And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the Word was God.

What a powerful word. Meditate on this scripture for a moment and then think and realize how profound it is to be sending the word. Yes, to be sending the word. This is exactly what I am doing. My mission is to send the Word(God) in the form of the scripture to the women on death row and when the word gets to them… The bible says that it will not return void.

Imagine God going some place and not accomplishing His purpose. Oh that’s impossible. Isaiah 55 v 11 says “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” What is it that the word has come to do. Well, John 1 verse 14, we find out: The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. When you send the word of God somewhere, that is exactly, what it does. It becomes flesh and dwells! I am sending the word of God to dwell in the presence of the women on death row.

You may have  the thought in your mind right now that they have the bible, they can read the word. Yes, that may be true. Nevertheless, the bible says in Psalms 107 v 19-21 “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses. 20He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destruction’s. 21Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving-kindness, And for His wonders to the sons of men!” God’s practice is to SEND HIS WORD!

In fact, there is a story in the bible about a Centurion leader seeking healing from Jesus for one of his men. He comes to Jesus and says that he is a man of authority in such that commands an army of men. He further elaborates that whatever he tells them to do they do, and wherever he tells them to go that is where they go. One of his soldiers is on his sick bed and He is seeking  healing from Jesus and the fact that he is not requiring that Jesus go anywhere and is only requesting that He sends the word. Matthew 8:8 gives us the account “The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.” Jesus responds to the Centurion by commending him for such great faith, one that is rarely exhibited. Jesus then heals the solider.

Today I am prayerfully mailing my first batch of letters and scripture cards to the several of the 50 odd women on death row because the word will bring about conviction. Hebrews  4 verse 12 says. “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow; it is able to judge the desires and thoughts of the heart.”
